Escape from a madman in Whiskers

Whiskers is a free point and click adventure game with a horror theme. In this game, you play a victim captured by a murderous maniac named Mister Whiskers. Imprisoned by the maniac, you must try to escape by exploring his lair, interacting with the environment, collecting clues and equipment, and talking to the other characters you meet.

A grim adventure

If you're familiar with other adventure games, you'll recognise the basic gameplay of Whiskers. You move from room to room of the villain's lair, clicking on exits to move from room to room, collecting equipment and interacting with the environment. Useful items can be hidden in unlikely places. Although the graphics are simple and even cartoonish, the images that they present are grisly and horrifying,

giving you the clear sense that you are being stalked by a monster. The fact that these grisly fates seem to be inflicted on cartoon animals doesn't make them much easier to look at. If you aren't comfortable with images of death and violence, this isn't the game for you.[

Grim but enjoyable

Whiskers effectively evokes its horrific atmosphere, but at heart it's a point and click adventure game. If you like the genre, and don't mind a little grue,
